The Five Realms can be a very dangerous place for a new adventurer. Lost Lands &#8211; The Four Horsemen is a very unique game that presents head scratching puzzles at the turn of every corner.<\/p>\n<p>Your inventory is located at the bottom of the screen. Certain items like the Knife can be used multiple times during your journey. However, you will often acquire items that can be used only once. Single use items usually unlock new areas and sometimes other items. Every item that you pick up will have a use of some kind.<\/p>\n<p>If you are unable to find your way, a simple press of the Hint button will help you discover the correct route. Each location offers a different challenge that will require you to scan the area thoroughly. Quest items can sometimes be hard to find, but a slow approach is often the best. Walkthrough<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor3\" name=\"anchor3\"><\/a>Chapter 1: The Glades<\/h3>\n<p>Pick up the\u00a0<strong>Ladder<\/strong>\u00a0from the base of the cottage.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Ladder<\/strong>\u00a0will be added to your inventory at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>Place the\u00a0<strong>Ladder<\/strong>\u00a0on the side of the cottage to reach the room above.<\/p>\n<p>Enter the room above and grab the\u00a0<strong>Knife Handle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Leave the room after you have inspected it.<\/p>\n<p>Locate the\u00a0<strong>Knife Blade<\/strong>, which is impaled into a piece of paper on a tree stump.<\/p>\n<p>Attach the\u00a0<strong>Knife Handle<\/strong>\u00a0to the\u00a0<strong>Knife Blade<\/strong>\u00a0and pull it free.<\/p>\n<p>Read the document about Maaron the Hermit.<\/p>\n<p>You will discover that Maaron is responsible for the safety of the Five Worlds.<\/p>\n<p>Collect the\u00a0<strong>Shovel<\/strong>, which is located next to the\u00a0<strong>Magical Blue Orb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurine<\/strong>\u00a0can be found to the left of the wagon.<\/p>\n<p>Use your\u00a0<strong>Knife<\/strong>\u00a0to cut the sack located on the wagon.<\/p>\n<p>The birds located in the room above the cottage will eat the grain spilled from the sack.<\/p>\n<p>Re-enter the room above the cottage and grab the\u00a0<strong>Key<\/strong>\u00a0from the empty bird&#8217;s nest.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurine<\/strong>\u00a0is also retrievable from the shelf now.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Key<\/strong>\u00a0into the door handle of the cottage.<\/p>\n<p>Open the door and enter.<\/p>\n<p>Once you are inside of Maaron\u2019s Cottage, click the\u00a0<strong>Glowing Sun Sphere<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A short video will play, and then Maaron will appear.<\/p>\n<p>Speak to Maaron.<\/p>\n<p>You will discover that you&#8217;re the chosen one, and it is up to you to save the Forgotten Lands!<\/p>\n<p>Maaron hands you a\u00a0<strong>Rune<\/strong>\u00a0so that you can teleport between locations.<\/p>\n<p>Once Maaron has left, search the room for important items.<\/p>\n<p>Click the\u00a0<strong>Hay Bale<\/strong>\u00a0twice to reveal a\u00a0<strong>Sickle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Search the draws to the right of the fireplace to retrieve a\u00a0<strong>Candle<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Manuscript<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Open the top draw and remove the cloth to reveal a\u00a0<strong>Fuel Oil Can<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The third and fourth\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurines<\/strong>\u00a0are located in Maaron\u2019s cottage as well.<\/p>\n<p>The third\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurine<\/strong>\u00a0can be found on the bookshelf to the left.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurine<\/strong>\u00a0can be found on the chair in front of the fireplace.<\/p>\n<p>Exit the cottage.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Rune<\/strong>\u00a0into the rock located in front of the cottage.<\/p>\n<p>The rock will glow purple, and you will be teleported to a new location.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have arrived to the tower, grab the\u00a0<strong>Hammer<\/strong>\u00a0from the rock to the left.<\/p>\n<p>Walk down the path to the left.<\/p>\n<p>You will come upon a beach with a Mermaid.<\/p>\n<p>Speak to her.<\/p>\n<p>The Mermaid reveals the ancient history of her lake, and she forbids you from taking water from it.<\/p>\n<p>Search the boat to the left.<\/p>\n<p>The items located on the boat are missing important pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the\u00a0<strong>Box<\/strong>\u00a0near the top left of the boat.<\/p>\n<p>Put the picture back together and grab a\u00a0<strong>Key<\/strong>\u00a0located to the bottom left of the boat.<\/p>\n<p>It will unlock the small brown box to reveal an\u00a0<strong>Angel Figurine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can use the\u00a0<strong>Scissors<\/strong>\u00a0to cut the\u00a0<strong>Angel Figurine<\/strong>\u00a0free from the net.<\/p>\n<p>The two\u00a0<strong>Angel Figurines<\/strong>\u00a0open the\u00a0<strong>Silver Box<\/strong>, which reveals a\u00a0<strong>Magnifying Glass<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Use the\u00a0<strong>Magnifying Glass<\/strong>\u00a0to reveal the\u00a0<strong>Puzzle Code<\/strong>\u00a0of the locked box.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Puzzle Code<\/strong>\u00a0into the box to retrieve another piece of the\u00a0<strong>Missing Triangle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div Figurine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There is a\u00a0<strong>Key<\/strong>\u00a0on the shore in front of the mermaid\u2019s rock.<\/p>\n<p>You will also discover that something had been dug up in that location as well.<\/p>\n<p>Use the\u00a0<strong>Shovel<\/strong>\u00a0to reveal a\u00a0<strong>Music Box Drum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Exit this area for now and return to the start of the level.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Strange Key<\/strong>\u00a0into the gate to the left.<\/p>\n<p>Enter the new location to the left.<\/p>\n<p>Look to your right and collect the\u00a0<strong>Pitchfork<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>Fishing Net<\/strong>, and the sixth\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Use the\u00a0<strong>Pitchfork<\/strong>\u00a0on the large bay of hale to reveal the seventh\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the\u00a0<strong>Lantern<\/strong>\u00a0to the left of the moose head to retrieve a\u00a0<strong>Blue Energy Sphere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Find the red\u00a0<strong>Music Box<\/strong>\u00a0and click on its handle.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Music Box Drum<\/strong>\u00a0into the red\u00a0<strong>Music Box<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Leave this area for now and return to Maaron\u2019s cottage.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the carpet in front of the fireplace and remove the nails with the\u00a0<strong>Hammer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>Saw<\/strong>\u00a0will be revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Stopcock<\/strong>\u00a0into the box beneath the\u00a0<strong>Purple Window<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A mini game will begin once the\u00a0<strong>Stopcock<\/strong>\u00a0is inserted.<\/p>\n<p>Rotate the images so that they match the background.<\/p>\n<div the pedestals in front of the tower.<\/p>\n<p>A short cutscene will follow.<\/p>\n<p>Use your\u00a0<strong>Saw<\/strong>\u00a0on the branches to the bottom left in order to retrieve the 8th\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the 8\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurines<\/strong>\u00a0into the tower door.<\/p>\n<p>A short mini game will begin, and you will need to link the\u00a0<strong>Monk Figurines<\/strong>\u00a0together correctly.<\/p>\n<p>Once you complete the puzzle, the door will open.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7201\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" done this, a\u00a0<strong>Mosaic Fragment<\/strong>\u00a0will be revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Place a\u00a0<strong>Candle<\/strong>\u00a0into the empty hood of the statue to the left.<\/p>\n<p>Light the\u00a0<strong>Candle<\/strong>\u00a0with the\u00a0<strong>Matchbox<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A jar of\u00a0<strong>Purple Essence<\/strong>\u00a0will be revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Click on it and cut off the\u00a0<strong>Tassel<\/strong>\u00a0from the curtain to the right.<\/p>\n<p>Leave the area and return to the mermaid lake.<\/p>\n<p>Use the\u00a0<strong>Net<\/strong>\u00a0in order to collect the\u00a0<strong>Duckwood<\/strong>\u00a0near the shore.<\/p>\n<p>Return to Maaron\u2019s cottage, and examine the table to the left.<\/p>\n<p>You will be making a water portal.<\/p>\n<p>Place the\u00a0<strong>Duckweed<\/strong>\u00a0into the mortar and crush it up using the pestle.<\/p>\n<p>Next, put the mortar onto the burner and then pour the\u00a0<strong>Purple Essence<\/strong>\u00a0into it.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the mortar to collect the\u00a0<strong>Powder of the Flying<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Exit the room and enter the area to the left.<\/p>\n<p>Clean off the\u00a0<strong>Music Box Drum<\/strong>\u00a0using the\u00a0<strong>Tassel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Close the box and then turn the lever of the\u00a0<strong>Music Box<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Collect the\u00a0<strong>Phoenix Feather<\/strong>\u00a0and return to the tower.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Power of the Flying<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Phoenix Feather<\/strong>\u00a0into the well.<\/p>\n<p>You will then be transported to a new location.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor4\" name=\"anchor4\"><\/a>Chapter 2: The Corridor<\/h3>\n<p>Collect the\u00a0<strong>Wooden return to the area with the\u00a0<strong>Music Box<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have returned to the halfling settlement, click on the pulley system to the left and insert the\u00a0<strong>Wooden Gear<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Click the\u00a0<strong>Wooden Handle<\/strong>\u00a0to reveal a\u00a0<strong>Wooden Plank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Take the\u00a0<strong>Plank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the\u00a0<strong>Key<\/strong>\u00a0into the wooden door to the right.<\/p>\n<p>This is a hidden items area.<br \/>\nCashRegister<br \/>\nFind all of the items and complete the puzzle to collect the\u00a0<strong>Stone Chip<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After you have completed this area, travel to the area where you first encountered the mermaid.<\/p>\n<p>Place the\u00a0<strong>Wooden Plank<\/strong>\u00a0across the water.<\/p>\n<p>Return to the upper corridor.<\/p>\n<p>Place the\u00a0<strong>Stone Chip<\/strong>\u00a0into the pedestal in the room ahead.<\/p>\n<p>A mini game will transported to a new location.<\/p>\n<p>Find the\u00a0<strong>Whale Rib<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Stone Rune<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Plank<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jar of Flies<\/strong>, and the\u00a0<strong>Gaft<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Use the\u00a0<strong>Oil Can<\/strong>\u00a0to lubricate the\u00a0<strong>Rusty Crank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Place the\u00a0<strong>Wooden Planks<\/strong>\u00a0onto the base of the tree.<\/p>\n<p>You will notice that you are missing Nails to fasten them.<\/p>\n<p>Move ahead to the next area.<\/p>\n<p>Retrieve the\u00a0<strong>Nails<\/strong>\u00a0from the small well and insert the\u00a0<strong>Stone Rune<\/strong>\u00a0into the pyramid to the left.<\/p>\n<p>To the left, there&#8217;s a small room blocked by a large boulder.<\/p>\n<p>Use the\u00a0<strong>Whale Rib<\/strong>\u00a0to remove the boulder and click the door to enter a hidden objects area.<\/p>\n<p>Locate all of the hidden items to reveal a very important\u00a0<strong>Handle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Return to the previous area.<\/p>\n<p>Attach the\u00a0<strong>Handle<\/strong>\u00a0to the small well and then click on the bucket of soil twice to reveal <strong>Dynamite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Grab the\u00a0<strong>Dynamite<\/strong>\u00a0and return to the area with the\u00a0<strong>Whale Skeleton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Return to the tree and fasten the planks with the\u00a0<strong>Hammer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Climb the tree and retrieve the\u00a0<strong>Tongs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Travel to the ship and place the\u00a0<strong>Dynamite<\/strong>\u00a0in front of the\u00a0<strong>Wooden Planks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We don&#8217;t have a fuel source right now, and we must return to the tower entrance.<\/p>\n<p>Use the\u00a0<strong>Tongs<\/strong>\u00a0to retrieve the\u00a0<strong>Tower Figurine<\/strong>\u00a0from the campfire.<br \/>\nReturn to Maaron\u2019s cottage.<\/p>\n<p>Use
